Evaluation of using electric arc furnace slag as an adsorbent for dyes removal

The adsorption of two common textile dyes – orange G and methyl violet onto an electric arc furnace slag was studied. Batch study shows that were dependent highly on pH value. Removal decreased with the increase initial optimum observed at 3. Moreover, total removal percentage low did not exceed 45% pH. However, increased pH, maximum (about 94%) 11.
